How to find a Youtube Playlist ID

A Playlist ID represents a Youtube Playlist. You can publish videos from any playlist with public content. Along with the Playlist ID, you also need a Youtube API Key.

Navigate to a Youtube channel and find the playlists

  1. Navigate to a Youtube Channel home
  2. Click on the Playlist tab

Find the Playlist ID of a playlist

  1. Click on a playlist to open it, and then on its title on the right to reach the playlist home
  2. Inspect the URL, it should look like something like this:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUztDu1vpuI&list=PLwuTuII8Bwgz22VUfjK03ecLZ15JOpi7P
  3. Copy the part after &list=, that's the Playlist ID
    E.g., PLwuTuII8Bwgz22VUfjK03ecLZ15JOpi7P

Test your Playlist ID in the App

  1. Open the Finsweet Component Youtube Feed app
  2. Select the Integration method: Playlist in the Integration dropdown menu
  3. Paste the Playlist ID in the Playlist ID field, press Enter, and wait for the preview on the right to update—for the preview to update, you also must provide a Youtube API Key.
