THE CHALLENGE

Why Webflow sites drift after launch

Webflow handles hosting, SSL, and security patches automatically. That part is covered. But the site itself? Content goes stale. Integrations break quietly. SEO settings decay. Small edits stack up and the live site stops matching the approved design. These are the things no platform handles for you.
#1 CHALLENGE

Content goes stale,
rankings drop

Your meta titles become outdated. Alt tags go missing on new images. Blog templates generate duplicate metadata across hundreds of pages. Google notices before you do.
#2 CHALLENGE

Integrations break
without warning

A form change disconnects your Zapier flow. An expired API key kills your CRM sync. Embed codes from Calendly or chat widgets go stale. Each one fails silently until a lead is lost.
#3 CHALLENGE

Design consistency
erodes over time

New content gets added with off-brand spacing. Combo classes accumulate. Fonts drift from the design system. Six months later, the live site looks nothing like the approved design.
#4 CHALLENGE

Animations fail
after publishing

Interactions work in preview but break in production. Mobile layouts collapse on real devices. The disconnect between Webflow's editor and the live site creates recurring surprises.
#5 CHALLENGE

No one knows when
something breaks

Form submissions stop for 48 hours. A navigation link fails on mobile after a client edit. Without active monitoring, the first person to notice is usually a customer.
#6 CHALLENGE

Your marketing
team gets stuck

The CMS editor is slow with long posts. Publishing a blog means pushing unfinished design changes live too. Non-technical team members avoid making updates at all, and the site falls behind.
THE CHALLENGE

What Webflow maintenance looks like with Finsweet

We do not sell a checklist of tasks. We maintain your site the way an in-house team would: catching things before they become visible, keeping your stack healthy, and shipping updates when you need them.

Content and
CMS updates

Blog posts, team pages, product listings, case studies. We handle CMS updates so your content stays current and your team stays focused on the work that generates it.

Design updates
and new sections

New landing pages, campaign sections, layout refreshes. Everything built on Client-First so the next update is just as clean as the first.

Bug fixes and QA

Blog posts, team pages, product listings, case studies. We handle CMS updates so your content stays current and your team stays focused on the work that generates it.

SEO and structured data

Meta titles, descriptions, alt tags, schema markup, sitemap validation, and Search Console monitoring. Your SEO settings stay accurate as your content grows.

Integration management

Forms, CRM connections, analytics tracking, marketing automation, third-party embeds. We keep the wiring between your site and your tools intact.

Custom code and JavaScript

Finsweet Attributes updates, custom interactions, third-party script management, and API maintenance. Clean code, version-controlled, documented.

Performance monitoring

Page speed, Core Web Vitals, TTFB spikes, image optimization, and script auditing. We monitor what matters and act on what's slipping.

Compliance and accessibility

Cookie consent configuration, GDPR and CCPA requirements, accessibility audits, and security header management. We keep your site compliant as regulations evolve.
being health team

The Finsweet team made the process comfortable and answered any questions we had along the way. We were able to dive deep into the process and they gave us both the time and opportunity to provide detailed feedback at every round.  I would recommend Finsweet to others for its expertise, value, and quality of work provided.

THE FSA MODEL

How ongoing Webflow maintenance works with Finsweet

We use a credit balance model called the Finsweet Service Agreement. It is not a retainer. There is no monthly minimum and no subscription. You fund a balance, we work against it, and you re-up when it runs low. Your priorities drive the work, not a fixed scope.
step 1

Set up your credit balance

Most clients start with a deposit that becomes your working balance. Every hour of work draws from it at a flat rate.
step 2

We build your backlog together

You get a shared project board where you add requests, set priorities, and see progress in real time. Your team decides what matters most.
step 3

Your dedicated team gets to work

A designer, developer, and JavaScript specialist assigned to your account. Not a rotating pool. The same people who know your site, your stack, and your goals.
step 4

Communicate through Slack

A dedicated Slack channel for your team. Questions answered within hours, not days. No ticketing system, no support queue.
step 5

Project Success keeps everything on track

Our Project Success team acts as your escalation layer: reviewing work quality, managing timelines, and making sure nothing falls through.
step 6

Re-up when your balance is low

Use all your hours in one month or spread them across six. When your balance gets low, top it up and keep going. No contracts to renegotiate.
No monthly minimum - No subscription - No retainer

How we build in Webflow

Built to maintain

Our open-source class naming system used by thousands of Webflow developers. It keeps your project organized so anyone can pick it up and understand it immediately.

No plugin dependency

Powered by Attributes, our JavaScript library built for Webflow. It replaces plugin dependency with clean, lightweight functionality, so nothing breaks when something updates.

How we work together

You get direct access to your designer and developer through Slack, project documentation lives in Notion, and calls ramp up as you get closer to launch.
Genetesis Team

Our Finsweet experience was above and beyond what we could’ve asked for in a website development partner. No matter the challenge faced, they connected our team with the right people to get the job done on time and correctly.

Webflow maintenance investment and getting started

Investment

Every engagement is scoped to your site. The credit balance model means you only pay for work completed. No monthly fee for months when nothing needs attention.

What affects your rate of usage

  • Number of sites and pages under management
  • Frequency of content updates
  • Complexity of integrations and custom code
  • Whether you need design work alongside maintenance
  • Compliance and accessibility requirements

We review your site, talk through your priorities, and give you a clear picture of what to expect before anything starts.

Frequently asked questions about WordPress to Webflow migration

Is this a retainer?

No. The Finsweet Service Agreement is a credit balance model. You deposit funds, we work against them at a flat hourly rate, and you top up when needed. There is no monthly minimum, no fixed scope, and no subscription.

How fast do you respond?

You communicate with your team through a dedicated Slack channel. Most questions are answered within a few hours during business hours. Urgent issues are escalated through our Project Success team.

Do you maintain sites you did not build?

Yes. We start with an audit of your existing Webflow project to understand how it was built, identify any structural issues, and get familiar with your stack. If the site was built well, we pick it up and keep going. If there are foundational problems, we will tell you what needs to be addressed first.

Can I use my hours for new pages and design work, not just fixes?

Yes. Your credit balance covers any Webflow work: maintenance, new pages, design updates, CMS builds, integrations, custom code, and performance optimization. You set the priorities.

What if I do not need anything for a month or two?

Your balance stays. There is no expiration and no monthly minimum. Use your hours when you need them.

Do you handle SEO?

We handle the technical SEO maintenance that keeps your site healthy: meta tags, structured data, sitemap validation, Search Console monitoring, and crawl health. For full SEO strategy and content marketing, we can scope that as a separate engagement.

What about sites with a lot of custom code or third-party integrations?

This is common. Most Webflow sites we maintain have custom JavaScript, Finsweet Attributes, API integrations, marketing automation connections, and third-party embeds. We audit the full stack during onboarding so we know exactly what we are working with.

Do you support enterprise Webflow plans?

Yes. We are a Webflow Enterprise Partner and work with teams on Webflow's enterprise tier, including localization, advanced hosting configurations, and custom security header requirements.

How do I get started?

Contact Sales. We will review your site, walk through your needs, and set up your credit balance. Most teams are onboarded within a week.
