Finsweet Inc. is the company behind all the awesome Products and Services you're using. When we say "Finsweet," "we," "us," or "our" in this Policy, we’re talking about Finsweet Inc. When we say "you" or "Customer," we mean you - the individual or company using our Products and Services.

By using Finsweet's Products and Services, or accessing our content on any platform, you're agreeing to this Policy, so give them a thorough read. If you're accepting for a company or other legal entity, you're confirming you've got the authority to do so. In that case, "you" means that entity. By accepting this Policy, you're confirming that you have the right to enter into this agreement, either for yourself or on behalf of your company. If you're acting on behalf of a company, you're promising us that you have the authority to bind that company to this Policy.

Capitalized terms not defined in this Policy have the meaning given to them in our other applicable agreements referenced herein.

1.2 Products and Services

Finsweet’s “Products and Services” include:

• Products, like Wized, Attributes, Client-First, Components, and CMS Bridge 
• Content, like SEO Guide, tutorials, documentation, educational resources, affiliate links, this website (Finsweet.com and any subdomain of Finsweet.com), and YouTube content.
• Tools, like Finsweet Extension, Support Forum, Open Source initiatives, code snippets, and repos

In our Agreement, we may say “Products” or  “Services” to represent Products and Services. We’re always innovating at Finsweet, so this list of Products and Services may change. Any future Products that we create at Finsweet will also be covered under this Policy and the Agreement.

1.3 Applicable terms

When you use Finsweet's Products and Services, you're agreeing to this Policy, as well as our Acceptable Use Policy, Intellectual Property Policy, Cookie Policy, and any other applicable agreements or policies referenced on website’s legal pages (collectively, the "Agreement"). You can find these applicable agreements and policies at Finsweet.com/legal/home. If you're using specific Finsweet Products or Services, additional terms may apply—we'll make sure to let you know about those.

Remember, this Policy apply from the moment you start using our Products and Services until you decide to stop using them or your subscription ends.

Please take the time to read through this Agreement carefully. By using Finsweet's Products and Services, you're indicating that you understand and accept this Policy. If something doesn't make sense or you don't agree with part of it, please don't use our Products and Services until we've had a chance to clarify things for you.

We know that was a lot of legal language, but it's important stuff. Here's what it means in simpler terms:

1. By using our Products and Services, you're agreeing to all our terms.
2. If you don't agree, you can't use our stuff.
3. You're promising us you have the authority to agree to this Policy.
4. If you're agreeing on behalf of a company, you're confirming you have the power to do so.

2. Play nice with our Service

We love that  you're using our tools, but to keep things running smoothly for everyone, please follow these important guidelines:

• Don't try to outsmart our system. This means no using bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access parts of our Service or Finsweet IP that we haven't explicitly made public.
• We know you're curious, but please don't attempt to break into our Service, Finsweet IP, or any connected systems. Hacking attempts are a no-go, even if you're just testing the waters.
• We're all for improving security, but please don't run vulnerability tests (like penetration testing) on our Service or Finsweet IP without getting our explicit written consent.
• Our infrastructure is built to handle a lot, but don't push it to the limit. Avoid actions that could overload our systems or those of our partners. This includes brute force attacks, denial of Service attempts, and overzealous performance testing.
• Keep your code clean. Don't use our Service to spread viruses, malware, ransomware, or any other nasty stuff.
• Remember, Finsweet provides Products and Service to the web development community. Please do not do anything that might interfere with other users' enjoyment of the Service or connected systems and networks.

3. Communicate responsibly

We're all about great communication, but let's keep it ethical:

• Our tools are powerful, but don't use them for spamming. This includes unsolicited emails, bulk messaging, or any deceptive marketing practices.
• When using our Products like to handle user data or communications, make sure you're following all relevant email and privacy laws.
• Be honest in your communications. Don't use our Service to send emails with false or misleading information, including phishing attempts or spoofing.

4. Keep it real

Authenticity is key when working with Finsweet:

• Don't pretend to be someone you're not. Impersonating others or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity is not cool.
• When using our Products, be transparent about your identity and intentions.

5. Use Finsweet Products responsibly

Our Products are designed to empower your Webflow projects, not cause trouble. Remember, we provide the tools, but it's your job to use them wisely:

• Don't create applications that promote illegal activities or violate laws.
• Don't manipulate user data in ways that could be harmful or deceptive.
• Our frameworks and systems are designed to make your projects more organized and maintainable. Don't use them in ways that could compromise website security or user privacy.
• When syncing data, ensure you're not transferring or storing sensitive information without proper safeguards.
• Our Productivity-boosting tools are there to enhance your Webflow experience, not to exploit or manipulate the platform.

Remember, we give you the tools, but it's your responsibility to build your projects securely. While we strive to create Products with security in mind, ultimately, you're in charge of implementing best practices and ensuring the safety of your applications and websites. Stay vigilant, keep security at the forefront of your development process, and don't hesitate to reach out if you need guidance on best practices.

6. Create safe and inclusive content

We believe in making the web a better place:

• Don't use our Service to create or distribute content that harasses, threatens, or bullies others. This applies to all our Products, tools, and resources.
• Avoid using our tools to create content that could cause harm, promote violence, or discriminate against any individual or group.
• When using our Products to build user-facing applications, implement proper safeguards to protect children and vulnerable users.

7. Maintain high content standards

Quality matters when engaging with Finsweet:

• Our Products aren't for creating or hosting explicit or obscene content. We might make exceptions for genuinely educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic content, but that's our call to make.
• Use our tools responsibly when it comes to information. Avoid spreading misinformation or creating misleading content, especially about critical topics like health, elections, or civic processes.
• When creating data-driven applications, ensure the information you're presenting is accurate and from reliable sources.

8. Respect intellectual property

Creativity is at the heart of what we do, so let's respect everyone's work:

• Don't use Finsweet Products to infringe on others' intellectual property rights. This includes using copyrighted images, text, or code without permission in your Webflow projects.
• Ensure you have the necessary rights and permissions for any content you incorporate.
• Make sure you have the right to use and distribute that content.

9. Protect privacy and data

We take privacy seriously, and we expect you to do the same:

• Don't use any Service or Product to collect, store, or process protected health information subject to HIPAA or other applicable health privacy regulations without proper safeguards and permissions.
• Implement appropriate data protection measures and be transparent about your data practices.
• Use tools responsibly when handling user data in your Webflow projects.

If we find that you've violated this Acceptable Use Policy, we might need to take action. This could include removing content, suspending or terminating your account, or other steps we deem necessary. We'll always strive for fairness, but we reserve the right to make the final call on policy violations.

We may update this policy from time to time, so check back occasionally. The most current version will always be available on our site.

10. If you don’t agree, stop using our services

Make sure sure you agree to this Policy and every policy that’s part of the Agreement. If you don’t, you should discontinue use of Finsweet’s Products and Services immediately.

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or business practices. If we make any significant changes, we'll notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on our website before the changes become effective. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically for the latest information on our service policies. Your continued use of Finsweet's Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. If you don't agree with the revised Policy, you should discontinue use of our Services.
